Off the Wall-Wednesday-Dreams and My Son.
I'm not talking about goal Dreams here, I'm talking about dreams/nightmares that sometimes occur while we are asleep. Why do we search for answers? What about that specific dream that fills us with the need to understand it?
I myself don't need the scientific reasoning behind our need to understand.
We have an issue that our mind is trying to get us to deal with, and our mind isn't going to stop giving us the same dream until we deal with the issue.
I've had my own issues with my mind pestering me with the same dream over and over before so I do know what it feels like.
The emotions the dream has left us with is all over the place, and we want nothing more than to go back to having dreams that we don't remember when we wake up. Right?
The link below has a dream list under common dreams. It also goes into detail on how to start a Dream Journal.

They all have references to books and other links which makes them good places to start your search.
Good Luck.
