Most believes the road to Becoming Rich is a pretty smooth paved road so they fall for the Detours.  The best description I can give you for the road to Becoming Rich is an over growing animal trail.  Yes I said growing instead of grown.  Without understanding the Nature of Money, you will quickly get lost on the over growing animal trail.

Money's most basic Nature is Trade.  You trade your time by working for someone who in trade gives you money.  You then take that Money to trade for things you Need, Want, or Desire, it is a never ending circle.

This is where that list I left you last week working on called Things I want that will make me Rich comes in.

You need to divide the list into 3 parts now.  Need, Want, and Desire.

Things I Need to Survive.

Food, Water, Shelter.

Things I Want that will make life a little easier.

Car, Computer, etc.

Things I Desire that will make me feel Rich.

Savings, Stocks, Bonds, etc.

The Rich Man has needs, wants, and desires, just like you.  The difference between you and him is that he doesn't buy things that are on his want list without a plan.

He sets aside 10% of each paycheck to feed his desire to be Rich, instead.

What does Rich mean to you?

There are 7 definitions for rich above, but the only definition that matters is yours.

You most likely don’t see yourself being Rich enough yet or you would not be here now.

It’s a New Year.  What is your plan of action toward becoming Rich?

Are you buying lottery tickets?  Are you making wishes on falling stars?  Waiting for that Rich Uncle to kick the bucket?  Looking for a Rich person to marry?  Looking for that Get Rich Quick deal that will make you rich?

Becoming Rich is not easy for many.  Many will begin their Quest to becoming Rich, but all they know how to do is Fail, or want someone else to make them rich.

What are the odds of your becoming Rich?

There is just as many ways to become Rich as there is people on Earth.

For now start making a list.  The list's title should be:

Things I want that will make me Rich.

Write it down.  Get Specific.  Get Pictures.

New Car.

New Home.

New Computer.

Take a trip with Kids.

Find out how much each thing you write down on your list is going to cost for it to become yours.

Some people call the list, I've asked you to work on as Dream Building, or Want List.
