Hope Everyone is having a Great Off the Wall-Wednesday.

Corey Franklin has a video about Consistently Diligent.

I know for me I am consistently inconsistent, but I think it is better than nothing at all.

Since I started blogging here, I have missed getting anything online in a week, 2 or 3 times in the past 9 months.  You looking at it might think that's bad, but considering everything that is going on in my life, it amazes me that the number isn't higher.

The fact that I'm being labeled a Jack of All Trades is exciting to me.  It means I'm starting to be noticed, and getting advice by the more experienced bloggers and marketers online.  There is honestly a light at the other end of my tunnel.
jack of all trades, master of none does not put money in your pocket

They have been telling me I need to be more focused and have a niche.
I agree I need to be more focused.

I'm seeing a lot of stories about Niche blogs getting hit by the search engines changes.
I don't know and understand enough about S.E.O.  yet to think about Starting another Blog that is Niched.

Anyway, back to the subject of my being Consistently inconsistent.

We won't be doing an Off The Wall-Wednesday for a while.

My son is busy with his summer job, and there is some online courses I want to take.
I've got a few Whatever Fridays already in place to come online at 6pm Central Standard Time.
I won't be on the social networks much either.  It's suppose to be a 2 week course, but I'm trying to get prepared for those unexpected distractions that might come knocking on the front door, or a silly squirrel that decides he wants to try walking on the electric wires.

Your Child posted What on Facebook?

Off the Wall-Wednesday 6-10-2015
Off the Wall-Wednesday 6-10-2015, Is it just another story about my son?
Off the Wall-Wednesday 6-10-2015
Hope you are having a Great Off the Wall-Wednesday.  I'm not going to bother trying to make you laugh today.  I'm going to be serious with you parents out there.

I've been lucky(knock on wood) in the fact that I've not gotten a phone call from a family member telling me to go look at my son's facebook timeline.

But Many times over the years I have seen things on children's Facebook timelines.  That made me go "Oh, someone is going to be in some serious trouble when their parents see that." and I made a point to go tell my son how thankful that I am to have him as my son.

It was then that my son reminded me about a video, that I made them watch with me years ago.

I had just started letting my son start using Facebook back then and my son was misbehaving and fighting me about not wanting to do chores.  So when I came across the video, I used it to open a discussion with my kids.
It didn't take me long to find the video again once my son reminded me of the video.

(Questions I remember asking my son after he watched the video with me years ago.)

Was the father in the video right in what he did as a punishment?
  1. Where did you think the money came from to pay for the laptop?
Is the father in the video wrong in asking for the chores to be done?
  1. Do you think the father makes her pay him for the food in their fridge that she eats?
  2. Do you think the father makes her pay for the clothes she wears?
  3. Do you think that father doesn't do things for his daughter when she asks him?
  4. Do you think his asking her to do chores around the house any different then her ask him to do things for her?
The father states very clearing in the video that it's not a first time offense.
  1. Why do you think that father had to make a video and put it on youtube?
  2. Do you really think that father wanted to punish his daughter using youtube?
  3. How do you think I will react if you do something like, his daughter did to him?
Am I such a bad mother for telling you, you are grounded from the computer?
  1. You could be in that daughter's shoes and no longer have a computer at all.

So I'm almost done.

I asked my son "If the man in the video was your father, would you be proud to wear the shirt below?"  He answered, "Yes mother."

How about your kid?  Would he or she wear the T-Shirt below?
My Daddy is #1 in The Universe T-shirt.

Off the Wall- Wednesday June 3, 2015

Off The Wall-Wednesday.
I hope this Off the Wall-Wednesday finds you well.
More often than not my Wednesday has been me talking about my son, and this one is not any different.

How in the Gods does a Mother teach her son how to shave???

She prays as she heads over to YouTube in hopes to find a good video that will show him how to shave.

Ok so I found 3 that show how to use disposable razors to shave.
Hope you found this helpful as much as me and my son did.

Off the Wall- Wednesday May 27, 2015

I hope this Off the Wall-Wednesday finds you good.

My son strikes again.
My Grass is Greener Cause you Been Pissing On it.
It amazes me at times what comes out of my son's mouth.
After he said that to me I dropped what I was doing and ran for a pen & paper to write it down so I wouldn't forget.
But something happened before I was able to get the pen & paper in hand, so hours later when I remembered there was something I wanted to write down I had to go ask him what it was again.
Thankfully he knows his mommy so well that he already had the wording trimmed down to fit a shirt design.

Since I also have been doing doggie shirts.  I did one a little different for your dog to wear.
What isn't that My Job?

The design isn't just limited to the doggie shirt.
The limit on the combination of the two designs is limited to your sense of humor.

What? Isn't that My Job?
Hope you have a great Off the Wall-Wednesday.

Off the Wall- Wednesday May 20, 2015

Gods I'm following a lot of collections on G+?  Laugh out Loud.  I guess when someone I'm following starts a collection I automatically follow that collection.  I'm working on getting my posts more organized and sorted into collections.  I like the idea that I can now follow the parts of your G+ activities that interests me the most about you, and you can do the same to me.
Off the Wall-Wednesday.
It's Off the Wall-Wednesday!!!!
School has been out for my kids for 3 days now.
Starting to pull my hair out, With all the distractions.
Are you Chasing the Chicken?
Laugh out Loud, my kids aren't the main source of the distractions lately, you might think they would be since School is out, but I'm surprised that the distractions are coming from outside the house hold.

Last week, the biggest distraction came in the form of a squirrel.  I was working on getting the post done and up for Friday, (which didn't happen.)  I hear a loud popping sound outside then the electricity goes off.

Cordless phones are nice to have, but there is a serious problem with them as well.  They need electricity to work.  If I had my own cell phone, fixing the problem would of been SO easy.
We Learn from our Mistakes.
My son was at school, with his phone, Mom and Dad were gone with theirs,  My aunt and cousin that lives a ways to the West of us, weren't home.  So I had to wait for someone to come home.

Once the electricity was back on I boot the computer up and discovered the only thing saved was the Title, everything else gone, and it's time to go get the kids from school.  Get the kids feed and off to bed to sit down to start working on it, again loose electricity cause of a storm.

I was having serious What's Next? Issues.  Which is why there was no Friday blog posting.
I'm not trying to make excuses, I'm trying to show you that sometimes things are just so beyond your control that your going to miss a dead line.  Sitting down the day before the dead line isn't the best habit to have.
You Only Have the Power to Change Yourself.
Missing a dead line, reflects badly on you, so don't let it become a habit.  Better planning, will do miracles in seeing that you don't miss another dead line.
How to Fail.
So I've been really busy lately that I've not had much time to get on any of the social networks to do more then glance over my account then go to work.  So I saw that G+ added a new feature called Collections.  So the other night I sat down and focused on learning about the new feature.  LOL
Virtual Flea Market.
https://plus.google.com/u/0/collection/YG4FW
Virtual Flea Market is one of my collections on G+ now.  I found that I don't have much under that collection, yet.

I did find that I had a lot that went into my Off-The Wall-Wednesday Collection on G+

I'll be adding some more collections to my G+ soon.
Life is A Work In Progress
So I'm coming to an the end of this Off the Wall-Wednesday.
I really have a bad habit of not doing a call to action at the end of my blog entries.
Which I am working on changing.

Clicking on the image below will take you to my store where you can buy your own,
Life is a Work in Progress T-Shirt.

Off the Wall- Wednesday May 13, 2015

Finding something laughable to share with you on Wednesday.  Is not always an easy task for me.

It's not easy finding things to laugh and share, when so many things in our life is under reconstruction.  I won't bore you with the details.

Laughter is the best and fastest stress reliever there is.
Your body can't keep your muscle tightened up that comes with stress, if your laughing.

Letting my kids have control of the video camera, means I'm not always certain what I'll find on the memory chip.

It's been trying to rain or raining since we went for walks in the park.  So I've been looking at the stuff on the memory chip, since my kids aren't interested in going for a walk in the park with a good chance of them getting rained on again.
My son is behind the camera in most of the one above.
My daughter is behind the camera in most of this one.

I hope you get a chuckle out of them.
Thanks for coming by.
Hope you come back by to see what we are up to next.

Off the Wall- Wednesday May 6, 2015

Hope everyone is having a Great Off The Wall-Wednesday.
I'm still on a search for something to make me laugh so hard that I start snorting.
My son is trying but I guess the fact that I know he has camera in hand.
Is making me self aware, and holding back, but something good will come along,
and I won't be able to hold back then.

Talking about my son, some more he loves his I-Pod.
Wireless Modems was the neatest thing to happen for our family.
Or maybe not, since my son tends to not come out of his room much.
These Days.

Ever since the I-Pod, We see him less and when we ask him to do something.
I end up feeling like a Nag since it's an hour later, and what was asked of him still needs to be done.

The gadgets, gizmos, and thingamabobs, are nice to have about, but there is days that I don't find them useful at all, since I have to resort to threatening to take the different electronic gadgets  away before my kids will get up and do what was asked of them.

How about you?  Do you have trouble getting your kids to put the gizmos down to do their chores around the house?

Off the Wall- Wednesday April 29, 2015

Most people call Wednesday, Hump Day.
It's the day in the middle of the week on our Calendars.
For me It's Off The Wall-Wednesday.

My focus on Off the Wall-Wednesday is to share a laugh.
But the truth is, I'm in need of a good laugh myself.
I don't have anything funny to write about this Wednesday.
So I'm doing something a little different this Wednesday.

There is huge amount of results to the searches on Off The Wall videos.

So what does Off The Wall mean to other people?

Off The Wall with Opera Browser
In this video they jumped off a cliff to skydive; cool.
Yuksek - Off The Wall (Official Video)
Cool video effects and nice music.
Haystak - Off The Wall
Warning, The F-word is used a lot in this video.
Off The Wall Comedy - How to Piss In Public.
Oh my Gods,  now that made me chuckle.  Bad thing is it only applies to males.
The Vans Off The Wall Spring Classic.
Cool Skate Boarding.
Off The Wall Signs:  Comic Con 2014
Nice Music, cool Signs.
Get Up Off The Wall - Photronique ( Official Lyric Video)
Nice.

So we have come to the end where there needs to be a call to action.
I'm still in need of a good laugh myself.
I have not had a good laugh that has made me end up snorting like a pig in months.
What have you got that might make me laugh?
My son has the video camera ready to video me laughing and snorting like a pig.

Off the Wall- Wednesday April 22, 2015

Mom, stuck her head in the door telling me to grab the cameras and come outside.  I grabbed the cameras and headed out the door.  To see 3 Baby Armadillos in our backyard.

This is the first time in my 40+ years that I have ever saw baby Armadillos in our backyard.  I've seen full grown ones off and on over the years.
The outside cats didn't know what to think about the babies.
My father came out to see what we were doing after we had done the video.
He is petting the one that had gotten close to mother, while she was trying to video them.

We have seen them in our backyard since that day, and at one time we counted a total of 4 baby Armadillos.

Off the Wall- Wednesday April 15, 2015
So it's another Off the Wall-Wednesday.

My kids and father spent most of the past weekend outside working on a spot that they intend to use to make their Ask Our Grandpa videos.

Hadn't thought about doing an outside studio for the videos, but it was a pretty weekend and my kids were outside working together peaceful.

A lot of people in the world use the word Impossible, but there will always be someone that comes along and proves what most think is Impossible was just someone's Opinion, instead of a Fact.
It takes just one person with the will to find a way to show that it is Possible.
I don't really like referencing things to the bible, cause then one Religion thinks I'm for them or against them.
You are Human, aren't you?  When you bleed your blood runs Red doesn't it?
A lot of these saying is something I heard a lot growing up.  Maybe your heard them before, or this could be your first time.

When you believe that something is Impossible, then it's you that have set your Limitations to what is possible.
We all start out in life without a Plan.
Our Consistency is that we need food and our diapers changed.
We learn and grow using Shiny New Objects, which in time we can create a plan from.
Call it a Dream or Life Plan or what ever you like.
For what ever reason you Let it Go.  Maybe someone told you it was Impossible and you believed them.  So you do nothing but hope and pray it will come back.
When we do nothing, then we can't learn from our Mistakes.
We have light bulbs because a Man didn't listen to people telling him it was Impossible.

Off the Wall- Wednesday April 8, 2015

Off the Wall- Wednesday April 8, 2015
It was nice spending Easter Sunday alone.
I can't remember the last time, I have had the whole house to myself.
Time by myself.  Some Me Time.
I spent most of that time with my nose in a book.
(The Complete Idiot's Guide to Guerrilla Marketing)
I took breaks when I heard the buzzer on the dryer go off.
The dirty dishes in the sink didn't make it into the Dishwasher before they got back.

My kids went with my mother and my father to my uncle's house.  My father's brother.
They came back with this video.
I could not stop laughing as I watched the video.
This was the first time my son had ever heard his voice played back to him.
Is that really how I sound mom?  I don't like my voice.

I told him there is nothing wrong with his voice.
You are hearing your voice as everyone else hears it.
I don't know of anyone who likes their voice the 1st time they hear it played back to them.
I know I didn't.

Did you click play and watch the video?
Did you like it?  Did it make you laugh?
If you answered yes.
Then please Share it with your friends.

Off the Wall- Wednesday April 1, 2015
No April Fool's Joke here.
Just another Off The Wall-Wednesday.

More often then not my Off the Wall-Wednesday are about my son's grumblings to me.

Many times over the years, he has made me laugh.  Just being himself.

His medical issues has insured that we have spent many hours inside a car traveling to one place or another.  To pass the time we have talked about a lot of different subjects.

Off the Wall-Wednesdays subjects we have talked about many times.

Random Things or Random Nonsense.

In one of our trips, he decided he wanted to go on Strike.  LOL.

I'm in Protest and still give her ideas, Instead.(my son's words)

You are a woman, you take my words and twist them around.(my son's words)
It was then that I came up with this design.

How nice it would be if raising kids came with instructions?
But more often then not what works with one won't work with the other.

This one I designed in response to him having friendship problems.
Can't think of better advice then that.

I'm off to pay bills and hope I don't cross paths with someone who gets kicks out of April Fool's Jokes.

Off the Wall- Wednesday March 25, 2015

Off the Wall- Wednesday March 25, 2015
Well, Spring Break is over for us.
My son got 4 of his 14 stitches removed.
We didn't go for ice cream.
We went on a road trip to Idabel, Oklahoma.
To the Museum of the Red River in Idabel, Oklahoma.
Going to see the Oklahoma Dinosaur is something we had been talking about for awhile.

So I discovered that he is just a casting of the State Dinosaur of Oklahoma.
But that didn't take away how impressive he was.
I really like this picture of my son and the Dino.
My daughter is taking her own pictures for her scrap book.
This pic didn't turn out as good as I had hoped, but standing next to him on ground level; it made me feel small.  I didn't find out how tall he is, but I did find out that he is 40 feet long.
It rained on us off and on the whole road trip.
After the Museum, we went in search of food.
It didn't click with me that we were in Big Foot Country.
Then I saw this Iron Big Foot, on our search for food.  He's certainly an eye catcher,
but I can't tell you where I was when we crossed paths with him since we got lost in our search for food.
LOL.
In our family if we don't get lost on a road trip at least once it's not a road trip.
After we ate, I put my son in the front seat.  I sat in the back with my daughter.
We cat napped on the three hour trip back home.
