Giving without expecting anything in return, isn't something one can wake up and decide to start doing and succeed at it.  We are selfish by nature.  We learn how to share with others.  

For some sharing with others comes easy and is a part of a person's nature,  because they grew up around others that have a caring sharing nature as well.

For me my grandmother Dolly was the best example of a person that gave without expecting Anything in Return.  So I was lucky enough to grow up seeing how the universe moves when one can truly give without expecting something in return from another person.

Selfish People breed Selfish People.

You can't change anyone but Yourself.

Before you can ask someone How do they give with zero expectations in return, you should be asking, Why do they give with zero expectations of return?  Everyone you ask will give you many different reasons to why they give but they will also All have a common answer to the why.

They want to make a difference in the world. 

If you don't have the need or desire to make a difference in the World.
You will never succeed at being able to give with zero expectations of return.

Pay It Forward, is a pretty good movie.  The idea in the movie is what got the Pay It Forward Movement, started.

It's the closest example that I know of, to giving with zero expectations of return. If you are serious about wanting to learn how to give with zero expectations of return, and You have the desire/need to make a difference in the world.  Then you are someone, I want to get to know better, and help you on your journey to learning how to help others.
